DJ EFUNK

DJ EFUNK has emerged as a prominent figure in Thessaloniki’s underground house music scene. His musical style focuses on US house music (from New York, Chicago, Detroit, and San Francisco), French-filtered house, and jackin’ style.

Born in Stuttgart, Germany, he started as a teenage DJ in hip-hop culture, gaining experience from the black music scene. After mastering advanced turntable techniques and placing 3rd in DMC Greece, he founded the BASEMENT parties during university, introducing New York and Chicago house sounds to Heraklion.

His DJ mixes on Mixcloud consistently rank in Greece’s top positions for house and deep house categories [citation:8]. He recently debuted as a producer with “Music in the night” in collaboration with EMANUEL [citation:8]. He performs using professional equipment including DENON PRIME players, Allen Heath mixer, and Technics turntables, and welcomes collaborations with industry professionals.

DJ EFUNK recently (24/3/23) made his debut as a producer with the track “Music in the Night” together with the talented electronic music producer EMANUEL. The track was released by Scuba Grooves and is available on YouTube and all music stores worldwide.
